What You Get
Floating Ball Game. Consists of 1 wooden train ball blower and 1 foam ball. Train blower measures 10cm in length. Train colours vary. A random colour will be selected for your order.
How Does It Work?
Bernoulli, an 18th century Swiss mathematician, discovered that the faster air flows over the surface of something, the less the air pushes on that surface. Thus, the air pressure on the object is lower than usual.
Blowing into the tube creates fast moving air around the sides or the ball. This moving air is at a lower pressure than the surrounding stationary air. Look closely, and you'll see the levitating ball wobble as it attempts to leave the area of low pressure but is forced back into the air-stream by the high pressure surrounds.
