Sodalite is a brilliant royal blue gemstone often used ornamentally because of its incredible colour.
The first recorded discovery of sodalite was not until 1811, and it was named after for its high sodium content. Many samples of sodalite will glow under ultraviolet light - be sure to test your sample when it arrives!
